jQWidgets jqxTagCloud showItem() Method

jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxTagCloud is used for displaying a set of user-generated tags that go with the articles, posts, or videos on a website. Each tag has a weight value that corresponds to its popularity, importance, or recurrence on the page. The keywords in the cloud can have their own URL which navigates to a collection of items associated with the relevant tag.

The showItem() method is used for showing a hidden element with a specific index of the specified jqxTagCloud.

Syntax:

$('#jqxTagCloud').jqxTagCloud('showItem', index);

Parameter: This method accepts a parameter that is illustrated below:

  • index: This is the index of the hidden element. It is of number type.

Return Values: This method does not return any values.
