jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxDateTimeInput widget is a jQuery datetimeinput that is used for selecting the date or time using a displayed calendar or by using the keyboard.
The val() method is used to set or return the date of the jqxDateTimeInput widget. It accepts a single parameter date of Date/String type and returns the date type value.
Syntax:
Set the value of the widget.

Returns the value of the widget.
