Mureka API

This is a third-party API for Mureka AI by Kunlun Tech. It uses your Mureka subscription: Free, Pro $10 or Premier $30 a month (as of October 2026). Through a REST API and a hosted MCP server, it makes songs with Mureka V9.5, V9, V8, O2, V7.6 and V7.5-all, an alternative to Suno and Udio, sung in your own voice if you like, plus remixes, stems with MIDI, sheet music and speech. Everything runs on your subscription’s monthly Mureka Gold, with no Mureka developer account and no prepaid developer balance. On Premier, a Mureka V9.5 song uses $0.018 of the plan’s monthly Gold, against $0.15 a song on Mureka’s own API.

MCP server

The hosted Mureka MCP server gives Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other AI assistants 40 tools for songs, characters, edits, remixes, stems, sheet music and speech, with your useapi.net API token and nothing to install. The mureka-api repo also adds it in one step as a Claude Code plugin or a Gemini CLI extension.

Pricing

What one song costs on Mureka’s developer API and on each Mureka subscription (as of October 2026). Each subscription comes with a monthly amount of Mureka Gold, and each song uses a set number of it, so a song costs its share of the subscription: a Gold is worth 0.2 cents on Pro and 0.15 cents on Premier.

A free Mureka account makes 4 songs a day on Mureka V7.5-all, 2 at a time. The other models need Pro or Premier.
Each song request makes two songs, so it uses twice the Gold shown. Mureka’s plans page counts 10 Gold a song (500 songs on Pro, 2,000 on Premier), and the table uses each model’s own Gold price.
Songs and speech share one Gold allowance.
Singing in your own voice needs Premier. Characters, reusable singers made from your own voice, are free to create, and songs made with them cost the same as any song.
Premier also downloads instrumentals and the basic stems package for free.
Mureka’s developer API needs a prepaid balance from $1,000, valid 12 months, that runs 5 requests at once, while each Mureka account here runs up to 10 generations (20 songs) at once.
Pro and Premier can buy more Gold: $18 for 4,000, $28 for 8,000 and $48 for 16,000. Billed yearly, Pro is $96 and Premier $288 a year.

Run several Mureka accounts

Each useapi.net subscription connects 3 Mureka accounts, and each account runs up to 10 generations (20 songs) at once. With more than one account connected, pass account to choose where a new song, upload or speech job runs. Edits, remixes, extends, stems and scores need no account, since the song_id names the account that holds the song. When all 10 of an account’s generation slots are full you get 429, so wait a few seconds and send it again, or send it to another account. Speech has no such limit.

Song and speech requests can also run in the background with async and send their result to your webhook with replyUrl, so you don’t have to hold the connection open for the 30 to 90 seconds a song takes. GET /jobs shows what each account is running. An account connected with its email and password logs back in on its own when Mureka ends the session.

Is there a Mureka API?

Through useapi.net, the Mureka AI API runs on your Mureka website subscription, the free plan included, and covers what mureka.ai does: songs on Mureka V9.5, V9, V8, O2, V7.6 and V7.5-all, your own voice as the singer, section edits, remixes, stems with MIDI, sheet music and speech. Mureka’s own developer API starts with a separate $1,000 prepaid balance instead (as of October 2026).

How much does the Mureka API cost?

Through useapi.net, a Mureka V9.5 song costs 1.8 to 2.4 cents on a Mureka Premier or Pro subscription, against 15 cents from your lyrics or 50 cents from a prompt on Mureka’s developer API. V9 and V8 songs cost the same, against 4.5 cents, and speech costs 3 to 4 cents a minute, against 8.2 cents (as of October 2026). The price table shows every model and tool.

Is there a Mureka API key?

Through useapi.net you need no Mureka platform key: you call the API with a useapi.net API token and connect your Mureka account once through Setup Mureka. Connected with its email and password, the account logs back in on its own whenever Mureka ends the session. Node.js and Python examples are on GitHub at useapi/mureka-api.

Can the Mureka API sing in my own voice?

Through useapi.net, your own voice sings at no extra cost per voice on a Mureka Premier subscription, against $5 per voice on Mureka’s developer API (as of October 2026). Upload a voice with POST /files/vocal or turn it into a reusable character with POST /music/characters, then pass it to POST /music/create-advanced with your lyrics and a style. The song costs the same as any other.

Can the Mureka API turn a song into sheet music?

Through useapi.net, a song becomes sheet music for 1.5 to 2 cents, against 20 cents on Mureka’s developer API (as of October 2026). POST /music/score turns a Mureka song, a YouTube link or an uploaded audio file into a zip with MusicXML, a staff PDF and a numbered-notation PDF. The sheet music tutorial shows the output.
