I've only been playing PUBG for a few days and have logged just over a dozen hours. In one match, after eliminating more than ten players, I was suddenly hit with a 24-hour temporary ban.
I have over 1,000 hours in CS2 and another 1,000+ hours in DayZ. CS2 gave me solid aiming skills, while DayZ taught me game sense, positioning, and survival instincts. PUBG shares some similarities with DayZ, but with a much simpler and more accessible gameplay loop. On top of that, every match contains a large number of bots that are relatively easy to eliminate. As a new player, getting more than ten kills in a good match is not particularly difficult.
I have never cheated in any game, so it was quite surprising that the first ban I have ever received in my gaming life came from PUBG, and it was a 24-hour suspension.
The ban detection system is simply not good enough. As a legitimate player who has never cheated, I was falsely flagged and temporarily banned. Meanwhile, the game is still filled with actual cheaters. Wallhacks and aimbots are far from rare, and some players seem to have virtually no recoil when firing. Many of these obvious cheaters appear to avoid punishment, while legitimate players can end up being falsely flagged. In my opinion, that is a serious failure of the anti-cheat system.
Despite this issue, the game itself is excellent. Playing PUBG feels like going back to the golden days of H1Z1 ten years ago. It is one of the best battle royale games ever made and has provided a lot of fun for both me and my friends.
However, I strongly hope the developers will continue improving the anti-cheat system to reduce false bans and better identify actual cheaters. I would also like to see improvements to the gunplay and overall responsiveness of the game so that it feels more modern. Finally, better lag compensation would greatly improve the experience for players who live far apart. One of my friends lives in the United States, and we often play together, but the latency difference can sometimes create frustrating situations. Improved lag compensation would make cross-region play much more enjoyable.
Overall, PUBG is a fantastic game, but the anti-cheat system still needs significant improvement.

Currently, the game feels like a half-baked product with lackluster optimization. Hopefully, Arma 4 will deliver a more polished experience.
