I forgot the Master Key, now i'm suffering.

PS : Just Finished the Game , Now i feel like a different person , The game's name is actually how the game is - dark and sad. I wish i could have realised this earlier. Probably gonna cry because i will never get to experience my first playthrough again.

Dark souls is one of the most beautiful games i have ever played. Every person i met had their own story. Everytime i defeated a boss i got rewarded , not as in items but just visitng the bonfire , it made my soul happy. These little things made this game great and i'm happy i got to play it in the first place.

When i was about to finish the game i went to the Blacksmith and as usual he told me "Neither of us want to see you go Hollow" at first i could not relate to this statement but when i was about to fight gwyn , every word in this statement made sense to me. This is why everyone kept saying "Don't you dare go hollow".

Everyone you met slowly dissapears. You are lonely in this giant world once again. Suddenly the place that feels like home is now empty but you still have a duty.

Cannot Rate this game since it is an experience, you have to play through it to know it.

PLIN PLIN PLON

A really cool detail about the final fights music, is its only played on "light" notes, no black keyes at all, to signify that gwyn is still struggling to keep the "light" alive.

Dead Space is one of those games that reminds you why survival horror became such a beloved genre in the first place. The atmosphere is incredible, the sound design is among the best I've ever experienced, and the USG Ishimura remains one of gaming's most unsettling settings. Every corridor feels dangerous, every noise keeps you on edge, and the strategic dismemberment combat still stands out as a unique mechanic years later.

That said, despite how close it came to being a masterpiece for me, there was something missing that I can't fully put into words. Having played games like Silent Hill 2 and Alan Wake, I found myself waiting for a deeper emotional connection that never quite arrived. Maybe it was the limited narration, maybe it was the attachment to the characters, or perhaps it was the perspective and portrayal of the protagonist. Whatever it was, there was a small gap between "excellent" and "unforgettable."

To be clear, this isn't really a complaint—more of a personal feeling. Dead Space excels at what it sets out to do and remains one of the greatest horror games ever made. The tension, atmosphere, pacing, and sheer sense of dread are all top-tier. It just lacked that extra emotional or psychological hook that elevates games like Silent Hill 2 from great horror experiences to all-time masterpieces in my eyes.

Even so, I would absolutely recommend Dead Space to anyone interested in survival horror. It's a genre-defining experience and a game every horror fan should play at least once.

Overall: 8.5/10
