Laravel MySQL connection errors in eu-central-1
Resolved - Some applications in eu-central-1 saw connection failures to their MySQL databases: "Can't create TCP/IP socket" or "Max connect timeout reached while reaching hostgroup". The problem was traced to an issue with one of our database proxies. All affected components were fully recovered by 10:40 UTC.

Deployments temporarily paused
Completed - The maintenance is complete. We've finished rolling out the patch in every Laravel Cloud region and deployments are working normally again.
All running applications were patched in place with today's PHP and Node.js security releases, so no redeploy is needed. Depending on your version, your apps now run PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 or 8.2.35. New deployments use our updated base images, which include the patched PHP and Node.js versions.

Verifying - Deployments in Laravel Cloud are now turned on globally. You may experience failing or slow deployments in us-east-2 (Ohio) region while we conclude rolling out the security patch.

Update - We are actively applying PHP security patches across the final two Cloud regions, Ohio and Frankfurt.

Edge network mitigations of the vulnerability remain in place even for the unpatched regions, providing protection to all customers at this time.

Deployments remain paused during this process and will resume once all regions are patched. No action is required on your part.
