What is Songs of Glimmerwick like?
If you enjoy tending crops in Stardew Valley or gathering ingredients and completing character requests in Graveyard Keeper, Glimmerwick’s mix of gardening, crafting and quests may appeal to you. Its own identity is a peaceful school adventure: a flute and songbook are central to learning magic, meeting people and exploring a woodland island. Expect a story-led RPG with a garden to care for, classes to attend and mysteries to investigate.

A year at the witch academy
Attend classes, join clubs and get to know classmates and townsfolk as seasons and festivals pass. The cast is fully voiced. Beyond the classroom, you can join a band, fish, dive for seashells or take forest expeditions with the Green Sprites. Experience also lets you choose skills for gardening, trading and unusual abilities such as speaking to frogs.

Music makes the garden grow
Clary’s lesson starts you with tilling, clearing and five Basil Seeds. Keep crops watered, refill your can after 12 watering actions, and plan around first-harvest and regrowth times. Basil normally needs three growth days for its first clipping and two more after each harvest. Keep three clippings for Clary’s turtle before selling the surplus.

- Basil for a Turtle — Follow the request’s delivery conditions and rewards.
- Songs and Spells — Compare gardening songs and their uses.
- Seeds and Crops — Check what to plant next.
Brew a potion or find your next catch
Find confirmed recipe rewards, learn the difference between practice and brewing, and check ingredients before spending supplies. For fishing, start with a rod from Mel or Lusina, then follow the casting and catch instructions. The fish table helps you choose the water and time: Lantern Fish are an evening ocean catch, while Sunray Salmon belong to mountain rivers.

- Recipes — Look up ingredient quantities before using supplies.
- Potion of Growing — See how brewing and plant growth work.
- Fishing — Compare fish habitats and time restrictions.
