Gah. I've spent all morning pimping myself to strangers via email for a room. Trying to get things together to move to Portland is becoming really stressful. I'm out of balance mentally because of it. Anyone in Portland looking for a roommate?

Tonight Austin and I went downtown for a while and hung out at The Grind. When we got there we noticed the street kids were around. They normally come back to town around this time of year. We talked to them for a while and Austin gave them a few cigarettes. Lobo was there. I haven't seen him since last year. He told me he's been freight hopping. Later in the night one of the girls came around front and was asking for cigarettes. Apparently this guy was being a dick to her about it and it spiked a bunch of drama. This kid Slaughter we just met came around in a drunken stupor and started screaming at the dude. He had way too much vodka to drink and the guy should have known better than to provoke him. But he did and Slaughter lost his shit. They got into a brawl but people broke it up. He came back broke the door to The Grind and was screaming he was going to kill him. Some crazy ass old lady came out of no where and started calling everyone outside assholes and some other indecipherable jabber. She was kinda funny. People called the cops though and Slaughter ended up getting arrested.I tried to tell his friends to get him out of there before the cops showed up but Austin told me to come back and stay out of it. He was too drunk to listen to reason anyways. I can't help but feel bad for him. He's only 22 and back in jail for who knows what time. Sad thing is the poor kid has nothing to lose. He didnt even have a shirt. I kinda wish I had given him mine, I was wearing two anyways. :/ Hope that groups alright though.
