Setting the Stage for a Regenerative Agri-Food Landscape in Thailand
タイにてJETRO主催「Setting the stage for regenerative agri-food landscape」が開催されました
On January 28, 2026, the event "Setting the Stage for a Regenerative Agri-Food Landscape" was held in Bangkok, Thailand, organized by JETRO. The event brought together the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), as well as private companies, startups, and public institutions from both Japan and Thailand. The primary objectives were to manage greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in agriculture, promote eco-friendly sustainable practices, and build a robust network to drive emission reduction activities.
2026年1月28日、タイ・バンコクにて、JETRO主催のイベント「Setting the stage for regenerative agri-food landscape」が開催されました。
本イベントは、タイ温室効果ガス管理機構（TGO）をはじめ、日本・タイ両国に関連する民間企業、スタートアップ、公共機関を対象としたものです。農業における温室効果ガス（GHG）排出管理や、環境に優しい持続可能な農業の推進、そして排出削減に向けたネットワーク構築を目的として実施されました。
TOWING was honored to serve as a supporting partner, contributing to the agenda curation and the invitation of key speakers and stakeholders. At the same time, it was a privilege to join the panel discussion as a speaker alongside global industry leaders such as Suntory and Mars, where we discussed the front lines of regenerative agriculture.
TOWINGはサポート組織として参画し、アジェンダの策定から登壇者・関係者の招聘などをサポートさせていただきました。また、パネルディスカッションにはパネラーとしても登壇。この分野をグローバルに牽引するサントリー様やMars（マース）様と共に、環境再生型農業の最前線について議論を交わしました。
Reflecting on our participation in COP30 (held in Brazil in November 2025), a resonant theme was: "Systemic problems require systemic solutions." This is particularly true for the transition to regenerative agriculture. Such a fundamental shift cannot be achieved by individual players in isolation; it requires the synchronized effort of every stakeholder within the ecosystem.
2025年11月にブラジルで開催されたCOP30では、「システムの問題はシステムで解決すべき」という議論が盛んに行われていました。農法転換（リジェネラティブ農業への移行）こそ、まさに特定のプレイヤーだけでなく、エコシステムに関わるすべてのステークホルダーが連動しなければ実現できない課題です。
This is why events like this are so critical—they connect the dots between diverse players and build the necessary momentum for systemic change. We are committed to driving this project forward to enhance the sustainability of Thai agriculture, advance the industry, and ultimately create a prosperous future for everyone involved in the food system.
だからこそ、今回のようなイベントを通じてステークホルダー同士をつなぎ、変革への機運（モメンタム）を高めていくことが不可欠であると考えています。
タイの農業の持続可能性を高め、産業全体を高度化させること。そして、農業に関わるすべての人々が豊かになる未来のために、私たちはこれからも挑戦を続けます。
