The Final Day of My Husband's Visit and Our Time in Matsuyama ーJune 14, 2026 (Sunday) R8
Today is the final day of my husband's stay.
Over the past several days, we have visited Matsuyama Castle, ridden the Botchan Train, and explored Dogo Onsen together. We traveled by train and bus, enjoyed a different pace of life, and created many pleasant memories.
This morning, my husband would like to practice riding my electric three-wheeled bicycle. Later in the afternoon, we plan to attend my regular mahjong class together from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Since we participated before, many of the members have warmly invited us to join again. I would also like to share some cherries that my younger sister in Sendai recently sent to me.
Overall, I do not want to fill the day with too many activities. Since it is his last day here, I hope we can spend it in a relaxed and unhurried way.
My husband is the type of person who enjoys experiencing things firsthand, while I tend to enjoy observing, thinking, and comparing. Because of this, we sometimes have different perspectives and travel at different paces. Even so, I feel that simply spending time together in the same place is something precious.
Although today is the day he leaves, I hope we can spend the remainder of it peacefully and enjoy our time together until the very end.
