I spoke to Noor, who lives in the northern Gaza.
``Hello, I'm sorry for the sudden DM, but I'd like to interview Ms. Noor. â
I didn't know much about Noor.
I know that she once tried to increase the number of impressions using internet memes.
The image on GoFundMe also has a cute cartoon style, so I had an impression she is an energetic woman. However, as expected, the northern part is extremely harsh, and Ms. Noor is so exhausted that I regretted even considering interviewing her.
When I asked her to tell me about herself, she said, ``I don't know where to begin to tell you about my suffering,'' so it was even more difficult.
I thought it was difficult to talk about someone's most painful experiences with others, so
I asked Noor what was the third most difficult thing in her life, and she answered immediately.
"The most painful thing in my life was when my whole house was destroyed and my brother was killed.
The constant hunger, thirst, and pain we feel during this time of war.
She comes from a family of 10, is a former English teacher, and had been always the best student in the class, her favorite subject was
science. She said that before the invasion, she had a comfortable life.
She used to love walking, playing sports, and going to the beach, but she is saddened by the loss of everything she loved.
The most painful thing is hard to tell, I had thought.
However I realized Noor's most painful nightmare is ongoing and she can't stop talking about that.
The feelings of ``pain'' and ``sadness'' are so intense when we lose our daily lives, that is the most painful time. And it's wartime.
Noor said she has evacuated more than 20 times and just evacuated yesterday.
Through the Internet, talking to people who are being bombed every day was hard. But people in wartime are lot more hard.
Noor's fatigue and sense of despair were completely different from those in central and southern Gaza.
The sense of despair felt by people living in south and the central region is one that I can still understand.
Dreams don't come true, high prices, and coldness.
In the north, intense ethnic cleansing is taking place, and people are probably running around on foot during bombing raids.
While we were talking, I felt a strong sense of fatigue.
In the midst of deep despair, I wanted to find some hope of her, so I asked her a question.
"What do you want to do after the war is over? What is your dream?"
``My dream is...to have no inconveniences.
I want to travel to a place where I can forget all bad things I've had up until now.â
Noor is 27 years old. A beautiful, strong-willed and intelligent woman. She reminded me of the final target amount on GoFundMe is
60,000 euros.
No matter how exhausted she is during this difficult time, her goal is to rebuild her life. I feel her strong will to start her life again.
The strength to say " I want to live".
