01. Shadows and Geometry

影と幾何学

The beauty of Sekitei lies in its layers. From the intimate "den" spaces tucked beneath the floors to the sweeping views of the Seto Inland Sea, the architecture plays with height and shadow. It is a space designed to let the mind wander and eventually come to rest.

石亭の美しさは、その重なりにあります。 床下に潜む隠れ家のような空間から、瀬戸内海を一望する開放感まで。 建築が描き出す高低差と影のコントラストは、思考を遊ばせ、やがて静かな安らぎへと導いてくれます。

石と海との対話

Cool moss-covered stones and the distant, glistening ripples of the bay. As you lose yourself in the garden’s intricate paths, the boundary between the man-made and the natural fades away. In this stillness, the soul finds its center.
