レディオヘッドの『ア・ムーン・シェイプト・プール』から約10年。ツアーも7年途絶え、バンド史上最長の空白が生まれた。エド・オブライエンの「レディオヘッドは終わったと思っていた」という告白、トム・ヨークの拭えぬ“ロックスター”への違和感は、この沈黙が単なる休止ではなく構造的危機だったことを示す。それでも5人で音を鳴らす必然は、ぎりぎりの地点で回復した。
It's been about 10 years since Radiohead released A Moon Shaped Pool. Seven years into the tour, the band went through a period of inactivity. Ed O'Brien's fear that "I thought Radiohead was over" and Thom Yorke's lingering discomfort with the idea of ​​being a "rock star" suggest that this silence wasn't a break, but a structural crisis.

From 1992's "Creep" to "OK Computer," this album marked the pinnacle of guitar rock. However, beyond this masterpiece, they sensed the signs of their own opposition to "rock clichés" and had grown tired of "their own rock." The unsettling order embodied in "Place" significantly shifted the rules of rock, and paradoxically pushed them back into the heart of the 21st century, just as they had been trying to break away from Radiohead.
While the band's revival of "Creep" on the "A Moon-Shaped Pool" tour seemed like an acceptance of their fate, the film's comments show that it was not simply a liberation.
