Concise but to-the-real-nitty-gritty words. Life does not comprise joy, happiness, and peace alone. You cannot avoid experiencing times when you feel pain, sadness, loneliness, and a sense of emptiness that makes you want to throw in the sponge. You will also have times when you feel resentment.

But still, you have to keep living as long as you have come into this world. Some people wish to live but, against their will, cannot. So, be determined to overcome your joys, sorrows, contradictions; be calm and collected, and aim for a life of sublimation.

簡潔ながらも核心を突いた言葉。人生、楽しいこと、嬉しいこと、安らかでいられることばかりではない。辛いことも、悲しいことも、寂しいこともあれば、投げ出したくなるような虚しさを感ずることもある。憤りを感ずる場面もある。

だが、それでもやはり生き続けなければならない。この世に生を受けた限りは。生きたいと願いながらも意に反して生きられない人もいるのだから。喜怒哀楽を乗り越え、矛盾を克服して、昇華の人生を目指そうではないか。
