Q1. There is a copse of maple trees atop the knoll, and it is stunning, particularly in autumn.

(1)nitrate [náitreit]

(2)litigation [lìtəɡéɪʃən]
「be involved in litigation:訴訟に巻き込まれる」

(3)tosh [tɑ́ʃ]
「That's a load of tosh!:

(4)copse [kɑ́ps]

「a small copse of beech trees:ブナの小さな雑木林」
「hide in a copse:雑木林に隠れる」

最初は「In the open field, there is a maple copse on a knoll and it is beautiful especially in Autumn.」
