🌐世界は止まない音で、できている "The world is made of sounds that never cease"｜【詩】詩の森| “Japanese Version” and “English Version”
子供の頃風邪をひきました
家の南側の「ミシン部屋」と呼ばれる部屋で
布団を敷いて寝ていたのです
天気のいい日でした
レースのカーテン越しに太陽の日差しが透けて見えます
階下で働いていた母が部屋にそっと入ってきて、何か食べ物を置いておもむろに窓を開けます
『さむい。止めて！』
と思ったのですが、なるほど窓が開くと空気が風と共に入れ替わって先ほどとは打って変わって呼吸が楽です
母が階下に降りていくと又私は一人でその部屋で寝ることになりました
外の音が聞こえました
車が通って行きます
「ブーーーーーー」
それが聞こえなくなると、鳥が鳴いているのが聞こえてきます
「チチチチ」
重なるように自転車が通る音がします
「シャー――」
バイクが通っていきます
「ブルルルルル」
ここで音が止んだらどうしよう。怖い。そう思いながら次の音を待ちました
世界の音は「止む」ということがなく、次々に聞こえてきます
「音って止まないんだ」
そんなことに気付いて
私はひどく安心して
一人なのに
心強く思いました

When I was a child, I caught a cold.
I was lying on a futon in a room on the south side of the house called the "sewing room."
It was a sunny day.
The sunlight shone through the lace curtains.
My mother, who had been working downstairs, came into the room quietly, set down some food, and slowly opened the window.
I thought, "It's cold. Stop it!" but as soon as the window opened, the air changed along with the breeze, and my breathing became easier than it had been just a moment before.
After my mother went back downstairs, I was left alone to sleep in that room again.
I could hear the sounds from outside.
A car drove by.
"Vrooooom."
When that sound faded away, I could hear birds chirping.
"Chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp."
Overlapping that, I heard the sound of a bicycle passing by.
"Whoosh."
A motorcycle drove by.
"Brrrrrrr."
Then, the cicadas began to sing.
"Zzzzzzz."
What if the sounds stopped here? I was scared. Thinking that, I waited for the next sound.
The sounds of the world never 'cease,' and they can be heard one after another.
'Sounds never stop.'
Upon realizing that,
I felt deeply relieved,
and even though I was alone,
I felt encouraged.
