①Where do you see yourself in 5years?

❌"I have no idea! do you?"

✅"It's very difficult to predict the future but I'm very passionate in growing my career in marketing. So hopefully I get to continue to grow with the company either in this role or in other opportunities. "

②Do you have any questions for us?

❌Sure, I went to college in NY, graduated back in 2017, I came back to tokyo right after graduations, found my first full time job at a chemical company where I worked as a sales for 3years ………

✅I'm a marketing professional with 5 years of experience in digital strategy and brand campaigns. ④What are your strengths?

❌I'm a hard worker and I'm a team player.

✅I've been told by my previous colleague that I'm highly proactive. I don't just wait for instructions, I try to anticipate what's needed and take initiatives. For example in my last role, I identified a gap in our reporting process and created a new dashboard that ended up saving the team several hours every week.

✅I would say my biggest strengths is adaptability, I'm very comfortable working in fast changing environments. For instance when our team had to pivot the entire campaign strategy in just 2 weeks I was able to stay calm, reprioritize tasks and still delivered on time without compromising quality.

✅Something I've been constantly recognized for is my communication skills. I make an effort to ensure that information is clear and everyone stays aligned. I found that clear communications helps prevent misunderstandings and builds trust within the team.

✅ "I sometimes hesitate to speak up when I'm not 100% sure about something but I've been actively working on this by seeking feedback more frequently and reminding myself that it's ok to share idea that aren't fully polished yet."

✅ "One area I'm working on is my tendency to be overly critical of my own work. I sometimes spend too much time perfecting details. However I'm working on improving this by setting clear priorities and learning when good enough is appropriate which has helped me work more efficiently."
