What I most want to attract right now is meeting people who are the perfect fit for my new Mental English Coaching program, which Iâm preparing to launch.
Even after living in the U.S. for over 30 years, Iâve had more than a few moments when someoneâs words about my Japanese accent cut deep.
But those experiences made me strongerâand inspired me to create a coaching approach that helps English learners grow while also helping them feel safe and encouraged.
Japan is overflowing with English-learning resources, yet the number of people who say, âI want to speak English,â hasnât gone down. I recently learned that more and more elementary school students dislike English, even though they now have the chance to start learning it from the early grades. Hearing that broke my heart.
To me, English is something full of possibilityâsomething that holds the power to transform lives. Itâs not about ânever making mistakes,â but about speaking as your authentic self.
And to truly make the most of that tool, I believe itâs essential to receive the right kind of guidance and healing at the right timeâand, above all, to build a solid mental foundation. That, I believe, is the real shortcut to becoming friends with English.
Imagine yourself chatting in English with a friend from another country, smiling and laughing together without even thinking about the language.
That little voice that used to say, âWhat if I make a mistake?â is quieter now.Â
And the moments when you think, âWow, this is fun!â are happening more and more.
Thatâs the future I want to attractâone where you can truly laugh with English.
If you could learn English in any way you wanted, what would your ideal path look like?
