より豊かに過ごす〜現実逃避(2)

    反対方向の電車に乗る

    (English follows)
    時間を気にせず、ひとりで電車に乗っていると、とても気持ちが落ち着きました。時間が経つと手足のだるさを感じてきて(1)、疲れが抜けていくような感じがしました。
    江ノ島を登っていき、さざえの壺焼きをつまみにビールをやりながら海を見下ろしていると、嫌なことを忘れることができただけでなく、なんとなく気力が湧いてくる感じがしました。(つづく)

    Get on a train going the other way


    When I rode the train alone, without watching the clock, I could feel deeply at ease. After a while, I would begin to notice a pleasant heaviness in my arms and legs(1), as if the fatigue were slowly draining out of me.
    Climbing up through Enoshima, then sitting down with a beer and a grilled turban shell asa a small treat, gazing out over the sea below - I found that it not only helped me forget the things that had been weighing on my mind, but also gently restored my energy, little by little. *To be continued.
