I was already familiar with Chiikawa, of course, but seeing the characters on the big screen felt surprisingly new. They looked even rounder and more three-dimensional than I had imagined!

Hearing their voices and watching them talk and interact with one another was also a new experience for me.

Chiikawa isn’t just cute. Even when scared or unsure of what to do, Chiikawa can be incredibly brave when it really matters.

That courage to keep going even when you’re afraid was one of the things that stayed with me most.

And I absolutely loved Hachiware’s line:

“Somehow, work out!”

It’s such a wonderfully vague wish, but Hachiware says it several times at just the right moments.

Even when you have no idea what to do, sometimes you just have to jump in and think, “Somehow, work out!”

There’s something strangely encouraging about those words.

Toward the end of the story, there is a moment when Chiikawa realizes something and is about to ask the two of them about it.

But then Chiikawa sees them trembling and holding thier hands—and changes its mind.

That scene really touched me.

Sometimes finding out the truth isn’t necessarily the most important thing.

You can look at someone’s face, notice how they are feeling, and choose not to ask.

In that moment, I felt that Chiikawa showed both kindness and a kind of emotional growth.

And in the end, we never really find out what happens to the two of them afterward.

Leaving part of the story unexplained and allowing us to imagine what might have happened felt very much like Nagano-sensei’s style.

It was cute, funny, a little scary, and sometimes surprisingly bittersweet.

And through everything that happened, Chiikawa and the others were brave in their own ways.

After the movie, I found myself thinking about a few things:

♡Moving forward even when you’re afraid.

♡Being thoughtful about other people’s feelings.

♡And sometimes, simply throwing yourself into something with the hope that—

“Somehow, work out!”

I went to the cinema expecting to enjoy a cute Chiikawa movie, but I came away with much more than I expected. 🐹✨

Since April, I’ve started working two jobs for the first time in my life.

I think I’m learning something completely new, and that feels like quite a big change for me.

If I have a chance, I’d like to tell you more about my other work someday.

We can learn something new whenever we want to.

Well, I’ll try to stay healthy and keep a positive feeling every day.

This is a really short post, but it means a lot to me.

I’d been really looking forward to it, and I finally got to see it!!

It was even better than I expected. The actors’ emotions felt very real. And of course, I don’t even need to mention the dinosaurs—they were all amazing.🦕✨

Actually, I’ve been really into dinosaurs lately since watching this movie. Surprisingly, I’ve started to think they’re very beautiful.

My mom was sitting next to me and quietly said,
“We just saw a beautiful moment.”

The scene filled us with warm feelings.

Later that evening, I watched the evening news that I had recorded. The announcer was also talking about moments just like the one we saw.

I felt overwhelmed and found myself tearing up a little.
Behind each student, there must be so many stories that led to this day.

I grew up with their music when I was a student, and I remember almost everything when I listen to their songs.  

I’m going to listen to their album when I go back home tonight.  
“CDs” may sound a little old now, but I’m really looking forward to getting their new album on March 18.

My friends haven’t changed a bit. Well, we’re all big boys and girls now, but basically, we’re the same. Our smiling faces, voices, ways of talking, and sense of humor.

Because it is the last day of the year, I had many chances to say “Yoi Otoshi wo” to people — friends, colleagues, customers, neighbors, shop assistants, and people who care about each other.
I think this is one of the beautiful customs in Japan.

In English, we usually say, “Have a wonderful New Year.”
Yes, I think this expression is just right.

Such a simple moment, but it felt really nice.

I realized once again how important it is for me to feel the quiet air of the coming winter. I truly enjoyed that gentle, seasonal moment.☁️🌾

I want to learn more about how our brains work, and I’m very curious about curses. It’s something completely new for me to read about.
Actually, I watched a TV program where Dr. Nakano appeared and introduced this book — and it really fascinated me.

Today the Giants won with his sacrifice fly, but what struck me most was his post-game interview.

“I’m glad that I’ve kept working hard every day. I’ve just realized how tough it is for players who enter the game later.”

These words really touched my heart. I feel they apply not only to baseball, but also to many aspects of life.

巨人の坂本勇人選手が大活躍をされていて、とても嬉しいです‼︎
今日は犠牲フライで巨人が勝ちましたが、試合後のインタビューが特に印象的でした。

「日々頑張ってきて良かったな。あとから出ている選手は本当に大変なんだなって今知りました」

胸に刺さる言葉でした。これは野球に限らず、何事にも言えることだと思います。

Fishing and seeing sea creatures can make great summer memories. By chance, I came across this magazine at a bookstore, and now fishing looks interesting to me. It might be difficult to catch a fish, though.🐠🎶
