Winter Sunset Glow（冬の夕映え）

After a sunny day, I often find myself drawn to the spectacle of the sunset glow. Its quiet beauty signals the day’s end, gently easing me into a state of relaxation and calm. In my childhood, the fading light served as a subtle cue to head home after playing with friends in the playground near my house. Ever since then, the sunset has remained an integral part of my daily rhythm, helping me shift my mindset from daytime activity to the stillness of evening and night.
Winter sunsets, however, affect me differently. As the temperature drops, my attention is diverted to the practical task of keeping warm. At times, I bundle myself in multiple layers; at others, I switch on the air conditioning to heat the room. As a result, I find it harder to fully appreciate the beauty of the winter glow than I do in other seasons.
In an attempt to engage more deeply with the sensation of cold, I created images of winter sunset glows in Japan, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and along the Mediterranean coast, with the assistance of Gemini and Copilot.

　晴れた日の終わりには、夕映えの美しさに心を奪われることがよくあります。その静かな美しさは一日の終わりを告げ、私を優しくリラックスさせ、穏やかな気持ちへと導いてくれます。子供の頃、近所の遊び場で友達と遊んでいた時の夕映えは、家へ帰るよう促す合図でした。それ以来、夕焼けは私の日々のリズムに欠かせないものとなり、日中の活動から夕方や夜の静寂へと気持ちを切り替える助けとなっています。
　しかし、冬の夕焼けは私に違った印象を与えます。気温が下がると、私は暖かく過ごすという現実的なことに意識を向けてしまいます。時には重ね着をし、時にはエアコンをつけて部屋を暖めます。その結果、他の季節よりも冬の夕焼けの美しさを存分に味わうことができなくなります。
　寒さの感覚をより深く感じようと、GeminiとCopilotの助けを借りて、日本、オランダ、スイス、そして地中海沿岸の冬の夕映えの画像を制作しました。
