Run locally

Generate video from text, images, or audio on supported hardware. Download the models during setup, then create locally on your device.

No per-generation fees

Local generation has no per-generation fees. Use your own supported hardware to create without paying for each render.

Your data stays yours

With local generation and the Local Text Encoder, your footage, prompts, and outputs stay on your machine. You can opt out of basic anonymous analytics during setup or in Settings.

Open source

LTX Desktop is fully open source under Apache 2.0, free for the community to use, fork, and build on.

Remote on your network

Use LTX Desktop in a browser on another device connected to the same Wi-Fi or local network. Pair it with a one-time QR code, and revoke access to paired devices at any time.

Powered by LTX-2.5

Open Source

Fully local. Fully yours.

Run LTX Desktop on your own compute with full access to model weights. No internet needed after setup. No cost per generation. Install, modify, and deploy on your own infrastructure. Free for individuals and companies under $10M in annual revenue.

API

Same editor. Cloud compute.

Run LTX Desktop with API as the backend. Faster generation, no local compute required, and always on the latest model β€” no manual updates, no model management. Everything the Desktop experience offers, without needing the hardware to back it.

Licensing

Licensing

Model licensing at scale.

The app is Apache 2.0 β€” no revenue threshold, no restrictions. The model weights are governed by the LTX Model License β€” free for commercial use under $10M annual revenue; above that, a commercial license applies.

  • 32GB RAM
  • 100GB+ free disk space, up to 160GB+ for additional LoRAs/IC-LoRAs

Linux

  • Ubuntu 22.04+ or similar (x64 or arm64)
  • NVIDIA GPU with CUDA + driver installed, 24GB+ VRAM (32GB recommended)
  • 32GB RAM
  • 100GB+ free disk space, up to 160GB+ for additional LoRAs/IC-LoRAs

macOS

  • Apple Silicon 32GB (limited; 540p/5s only)
  • Apple Silicon under 24GB or Intel Mac (Gen Space API only)
  • macOS 26+ (Tahoe) for local generation; the app runs on macOS 14+
  • 100GB+ free disk space, up to 160GB+ for additional LoRAs/IC-LoRAs

Install LTX Desktop

Step 1

Download the installer

Download the latest installer from GitHub Releases.

Step 2

Install and launch LTX Desktop

Step 3

Complete the first-run setup

Hugging Face sign-in and license acceptance may be required to download the gated LTX-2.5 weights. Model files are downloaded during setup.

In version 1.3.0, first-run setup includes an option to opt out of basic analytics.

Packaged installs check GitHub Releases for updates and apply them when you quit the app.
