I've known since the third grade when I read Robert C. O'Brien's "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" that writing - and writing children's books, more specifically - would be in my future. Although I currently live in Colorado with my husband and three daughters, I spent more than a decade as a parenting, travel, and finance writer for publications in Manhattan. My work has been in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, Parents, Real Simple, and loads of other places. I'm also a three-time children's book author, with my fourth set to come out in 2027!
