Physical attacks against Palestinian families in the West Bank are escalating. They're calling on international activists to show up.

The Spring 2026 Mission

For Palestine, we won’t stop.

Stand with Palestinian Families Facing Violence in the West Bank

We're partnering with Palestinian-led movements to bring international activists to the West Bank. Volunteers accompany Palestinian families through daily life under threat: farmers on their land, children on the walk to school, shepherds in the hills, all facing escalating physical attacks from state-backed settlers.

The Palestinians leading this work have been resisting for decades. They've asked internationals to show up, and we're co-organizing a nonviolent mission to help answer that call. Be present. Document what happens. Make it harder for attacks to happen unseen.

The Spring 2026 Mission

In response to a direct call from Palestinians in Gaza, the Global Sumud Flotilla mobilized again in Spring '26, on land and at sea, with hundreds of participants, more than seventy boats, and a convoy of trucks and ambulances bound for Gaza.

The mission set out to break israel's illegal siege, deliver life-saving humanitarian aid, and confront the genocide and the complicity that enables it. The sea mission was intercepted twice, once off the coast of Greece and again around 250 nautical miles from Gaza near Cyprus, and the land mission was violently blocked in Libya. Facing the brutality of the genocidal regime up close only sharpened our resolve. We will not be deterred, and we stand with the Palestinian people in their pursuit of life, justice, and liberation.

Mission Recap

Rise Up for Our Collective Future

This mission was never only about those who sailed or joined the overland convoy. It was about the millions around the world ready to say "enough is enough," people prepared to inherit the responsibility abandoned by governments and institutions, take to the streets, and demand change. That energy is now taking shape as a permanent, internationalist coalition of everyday people and delegations across more than 50 countries.

Guided by the Palestinians' steadfast struggle for liberation, we are mobilizing communities worldwide to act. Together, we rise against apartheid, racism, imperialism, colonialism, ecocide, and all systems of oppression. This moment requires action from everyone. Don't be a spectator.

Mission Goals

The Spring ‘26 mission was organized around six interlinked targets:

  1. Helping to Break the Siege: Directly confronting the illegal blockade and asserting the right of Palestinians to access their coast and the world beyond it.
  2. Delivering Life-Saving Aid: Delivering large-scale humanitarian aid, including food, baby formula, school supplies, and medicine.
  3. Establishing a People's Sea Corridor: Creating a civilian-operated maritime route to Gaza to ensure unimpeded access to food, medicine, and essential supplies, and asserting the Palestinian people's sovereignty over their own waters.
  4. Supporting Reconstruction: Dedicated teams accompanying Palestinians through early stages of rebuilding homes, schools, and hospitals.
  5. Confronting Complicity: Exposing the international complicity that enables the blockade and mobilizing global civil society to demand accountability.
  6. Catalyzing Global People-Powered Action: Transforming the flotilla into a catalyst for coordinated land and sea mobilizations, amplifying Palestinian voices, and empowering people worldwide to act where governments and institutions have failed.

Four GSF members. More than six months in prison. All now on open-ended hunger strikes.

In a letter addressed to Tunisia and to the world, the Sumud 4 speak for themselves about their imprisonment, their struggle and their determination to reclaim their freedom: "The road to Palestine was never paved with roses, nor were the overland convoys and blockade-breaking flotillas safe excursions. From the moment we resolved to be part of this path, we understood that anyone choosing to stand with a people facing genocide, to confront an unjust blockade, and to support a resistance defending its right to existence and dignity, cannot choose the nature of the sacrifices that may lie ahead."

The Global Sumud Flotilla is an international movement of coordinated, nonviolent action, by land, sea and across borders, working to end Israel's illegal siege on Gaza, confront the complicity that enables occupation, and stand with the Palestinian people. From ships at sea and coordinated mobilizations, to overland convoys crossing continents, each act of resistance represents everyday people's refusal to remain silent and a collective commitment to Palestinian liberation.

Sumud is an Arabic word meaning steadfastness, perseverance and resilience. It reflects the unyielding spirit of the Palestinian people to resist injustice and occupation on their ancestral land, and it drives the global solidarity of those who refuse to look away. The Global Sumud Flotilla embodies this principle through sustained, coordinated action rooted in compassion and determination.

Breaking the siege is not only about delivering aid. It's about ensuring Palestinians can access life's necessities without dependence on those who oppress them. Our goal is to establish a corridor for freedom, not charity; sovereignty, not subjugation. By challenging the siege on land and at sea, we confront the systems of control that make Gaza the world's largest open-air prison.
