@rigaya rigaya released this 04 Oct 06:49
  • Speed up Linux AMF encoding with OpenCL filters, by copying filter output to a host surface and submitting it on a dedicated thread.
  • On Linux, map and unmap input frames on a dedicated queue so the host does not wait for queued GPU work.
  • Fix --vpp-kfm frame count and tail frames varying between runs on ROCm.
  • Speed up --vpp-kfm.
  • Fix --vpp-kfm aborting when used with --trim.
  • Fix accumulated rounding error of TrueHD in --audio-copy. ( rigaya/NVEnc#805 )
  • Improve CPU usage readout on Linux.
  • Fix raw output dropping frames still queued at shutdown.
  • Fix --vpp-rtgmc failing on Mesa rusticl.
  • Fix -c raw with no filters failing on VA-API.
  • Fix VA-API exiting because not enough frames are allocated when an OpenCL filter such as --vpp-kfm emits multiple frames per input.
  • Fix --fallback-bitdepth being ignored on VA-API, so encoding failed on GPUs without 10-bit support.

@rigaya rigaya released this 27 Sep 04:40
  • Fix --vpp-afs non deterministic behaviour.
  • Fix --vpp-afs failing on runtimes without cl_khr_image2d_from_buffer, such as Mesa rusticl.
  • Fix a crash during --vpp-afs cleanup with YUV444.
  • Fix OpenCL interop failing when multiple Intel OpenCL platforms are present.

@rigaya rigaya released this 26 Sep 13:35
  • Fix OpenCL not available when using VA-API in 9.18. (Linux)

9.18

Choose a tag to compare

@rigaya rigaya released this 26 Sep 04:27
  • Add VA-API encoding on Linux (--backend). ( rigaya/Amatsukaze#36 )
    • With --backend auto, fall back to VA-API when AMF cannot encode the selected codec.
  • Allow --interlace auto on Linux.
  • Set RUSTICL_ENABLE=radeonsi when unset, so Mesa OpenCL (rusticl) can use Radeon GPUs.
  • Drop AMF from Linux package dependencies, so encoding works through VA-API without AMF.
  • Fix a stall on H.264 with many reference frames when using the AMF hardware decoder.
  • On Linux AMF, fall back to software decoding for H.264 streams whose DPB is 16.
  • Fix a freeze and an incorrect exit status when using --ssim or --psnr. ( #145 )
  • Fix the end-of-row write in --vpp-tweak. ( #144 )
  • Fix --trim reading an uninitialized trim list when the input frame count is known.
  • Fix pixel format conversion bugs.
