Patch Changes

  • #1534 4cb81bd Thanks @petyosi! - Stop a polling query from re-arming its refetchInterval after a data$ subscriber disables it, changes its params, or starts another fetch while handling a successful result.

react-virtuoso@4.18.18

Patch Changes

  • #1521 c923e6d Thanks @cpruijsen! - Fixed GroupedVirtuoso calling computeItemKey and itemContent with a non-existent item index when all groups are empty (e.g. groupCounts={[0]}) or when initialTopMostItemIndex is LAST. The initial size probe now stays within the existing items, and probes only the group headers when there are no items. When the empty groups later receive items, the size state is reset, so the list measures a group header and an item again instead of sizing every item as a header.

Patch Changes

  • #1520 e519b85 Thanks @cpruijsen! - Fixed endReached receiving an index that includes the group headers in GroupedVirtuoso and GroupedTableVirtuoso. The callback now receives the index of the last real item - e.g. 499 instead of 522 for a list of 500 items with 23 groups. If your endReached handler subtracts the group count from the index as a workaround, remove that adjustment. endReached no longer fires when every group is empty.

Patch Changes

  • #1517 fcb22cb Thanks @petyosi! - Fix derived nodes that kept a stale value after a subscriber published during a cycle. When the outer cycle later recomputed a combineCells, ComputedCell, or withLatestFrom node, it read the value from before the nested publication and overwrote the correct result. useCellValues then kept rendering the old value while useCellValue showed the new one. A nested cycle now writes its accepted values into every running cycle on the engine, including the values forwarded to child engines.

Patch Changes

  • #1512 b7238f3 Thanks @cpruijsen! - Map skipAnimationFrameInResizeObserver through TableVirtuoso's urx optional props so the table resize observer consumes it instead of leaving the leftover prop on the scroller DOM.

Minor Changes

  • #1513 e1735dc Thanks @petyosi! - Keep the measured column header at its natural width when a consumer style stretches it with flex-grow or a percentage width. The header's measured width is the column's base width, so a stretched header used to record its grown width as the base, and grow columns never gave the extra width back when the table narrowed. Consumers can set fixed and minimum base widths on the intrinsic header surface.

Add containerProps to ColumnHeader for styles, event handlers, and accessibility attributes that must cover the full rendered column width without changing its intrinsic measurement.

Patch Changes

  • #1509 3dbb0c4 Thanks @petyosi! - Fix a Query that stopped reacting to enabled$ after its first toggle. Setting enabled$ back to true now fetches with the current params every time, and setting it to false again aborts the in-flight request and stops refetchInterval polling. Both reactions previously ran through filtered streams, which are distinct, so only the first enable and the first disable took effect.

Patch Changes

  • #1461 364c071 Thanks @aehmt! - Fixed "Zero-sized element, this should not happen" error when initialItemCount exceeds the available data. The initial list state builder now clamps the item count to the data remaining after initialTopMostItemIndex, and renders no items when data is explicitly empty, preventing phantom items with undefined data from being rendered. initialItemCount also became a reactive input of the list state computation, so changing it after mount recomputes the list instead of leaving stale state until an unrelated update.
