React first added Suspense to "stable" as of React v17. Since then, it has become clear that it is the future of data fetching for React. However, there are some compatibility issues, such as pre-v17 and SSR in v17. As such, we have decided not to use Suspense in the initial release of
@microsoft/live-share-react.This decision may not be correct, or may become obsolete in the future. If you have feedback or questions on this decision, please post here!
