Open-source contributor focused on reliable AI agents and developer tooling.
I contribute to Hermes Agent, an open-source personal AI agent by Nous Research. I work across its Python agent and gateway core and its TypeScript/Electron Desktop app, with an emphasis on lifecycle correctness, cross-process state, and behavior-focused regression testing.
Six contributions incorporated upstream through maintainer salvage and cherry-pick integrations, with original commit authorship or Co-authored-by credit preserved. The links below connect my source PRs to the merged integrations.
| Contribution | What landed | Source â merged integration | Attribution |
|---|---|---|---|
| One-shot session lifecycle | Capture the Relay session ID at turn entry and finalize it during teardown on success and failure, including when compression rotates the agent's session ID. | #79563 â #132457 | Original author |
| Desktop task-card readability | Keep the status card's background opaque while dimming only its inner content, preventing transcript text from bleeding through during scrolling. | #69069 â #105727 | Original author |
| Multiplex credential isolation | Guard the shared dotenv-loader boundary so routed profile credentials stay out of process-global os.environ, preserving unscoped startup loading and profile-private external-secret hydration. |
#77592 â #101244 | Original author |
| Desktop session recovery | Diagnose orphan-reap and turn-lease failures; contribute the visible-chat recovery and dispatcher-based prompt path so a reclaimed runtime does not strand the conversation. | #97874 â #99891 | Co-author |
| Composer interaction safety | Prevent text-selection drags from accidentally popping out the composer; add a persistent Floating Composer preference and regression coverage. | #70515 â #86766 | Original author |
| Gateway-backed remote previews | Contribute routing and regression tests that open remote non-HTML artifacts in the authenticated in-app preview instead of the local Electron file bridge. | #70296 â #79494 | Co-author |
- Dashboard MCP startup: traced idle disk writes to eager stdio MCP discovery. The merged #117201 acknowledges my #60602 investigation and defers standalone dashboard discovery until a client connects.
- Desktop scheduled-job configuration: investigated the missing terminal-config bridge before cron ticks in #65751. The maintainer acknowledged the diagnosis; #65760 resolved it at shared startup and terminal-tool boundaries with a different failure policy.
- Agent runtime and provider compatibility
- Desktop session lifecycle and runtime recovery
- Gateway, CLI, and cross-platform reliability
- Regression tests for production-facing bugs
