It would be great if the quick-terminal-screen option allowed for specifying the specific screen that the quick terminal would open on. Having it bounce around between many different monitors is not ideal for me; I prefer to have it appear reliably in the same place regardless of which screen I happen to be working in when triggered.
Another aspect of it bouncing around that becomes an issue is when monitors are not the same size; the terminal history isn't reflowed on the resized surface so something that was rendered on a wider monitor becomes disjointed and jumbled on a smaller one, and when rendered on a smaller might only take ¾ of the screen on a larger monitor.
The most similar discussion I could find was here. It shares similar core functionality (interaction with display ids) but rather than finding the first inactive window this feature would allow for pinning the quick terminal to always open in a specific window.
While it may be useful to support non-human readable display ids, I'd imagine the most user-friendly approach would be to use the display name as is appears in the system Display Manager (e.g. System Settings > Displays on macOS) to define which screen the quick terminal should appear on.
