Introduction

Web browsers, often simply called browsers, are software applications that allow users to access and view contents on the internet. These contents are hosted on websites, each of which has a unique address called a "Uniform Resource Locator (URL)". When a user enters a URL into a browser, the program locates the corresponding website and displays it on their screen.

There are several mobile web browsers available, including:

  • Google Chrome
  • Opera
  • Firefox
  • UC Web
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Brave

In this user manual, we’ll focus on how to use Google Chrome—the most widely used browser globally. Chrome is known for its speed, security, and user-friendly interface, making it a popular choice for many users.

Why Go with Google Chrome?

Chrome is super easy to use—everything is laid out neatly with no clutter, so you can find what you need without wasting time. It also unites really well with your Google account. Stuff like your passwords, bookmarks, and browsing history are saved and synced, so whenever you sign in on a new device, everything is already there for you again and no need to start from scratch. Most web apps are built with Chrome in mind, so things just work better on it. Plus, it’s fast. Even with a bunch of tabs open, pages load quickly and run smoothly.

And let’s be real here, if you ask ten people which browser they use, chances are six of them will say Chrome. It’s the go-to for a reason.
