Final Fantasy Resonance Wiki Guide
The Final Fantasy Resonance Wiki covers everything in the game: every vision with its Mastery Rank and Awakening rewards, the espers you can summon, the party, bosses, abilities, equipment and a chapter-by-chapter walkthrough.
What is Final Fantasy Resonance?
Final Fantasy Resonance is a turn-based RPG from Square Enix and Lancarse, and the first Final Fantasy in the HD-2D style: high-definition pixel art with cinematic scenes and select summons in 3D.
It retells the first season of the mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, rebuilt and reimagined for consoles and PC with new scenarios for its cast and visions of heroes from across the series.
Gameplay Elements
Story & Setting
Final Fantasy Resonance begins in Grandshelt, the Kingdom of Knights, whose people live under the protection of the crystals.
Rain, commander of the airship squadron, and his childhood friend Lasswell are sent to the Earth Shrine, where they meet the armored Veritas of the Dark. To protect the remaining crystals they set out after him, joined by Fina, a girl with no memory who appeared from the Earth Crystal.
Turn-Based Combat
Battles are turn-based, with a timeline at the top of the screen showing who acts next, allies and enemies alike.
Breaking an enemy's stagger gauge, faster with its elemental weakness, stops its next turn and grants a bonus phase. Stagger every enemy at once and the whole party acts again, ending in a vision's Resonance. See Combat.
Visions
Each character equips one vision, the crystallized essence of a hero met along the way, for its stats, skills and Limit Burst.
Visions grow through Mastery Rank and Awakening, and every ability learned can be equipped within a character's AP limit, even after switching visions. Legacy heroes such as Cloud and Terra are earned at their vision crystal sanctums.
