Welcome!

Hi and welcome to ev_fanfic!

Do you have any fics to share? Please don't be afraid to post them. I can assure you, once you've posted your piece of writing, we will treat it with the highest of respect and show you nothing but gratitude. We're here to have fun and make each other happy, and encourage writers (!), so don't be afraid. We're all new on this site, so no one will be treated differently.

If you want to introduce yourself, please do! Getting to know a fellow writer would be awesome, but we all totally understand if you want to stay anonymous, too.

Under the link below are some tutorials on how to post and how to go back & read the memories. If you have any questions, please ask. Remember, there are no stupid questions and I'd be happy to help out.

Just a heads up before I let you go through the tutorial - Readers! If you've read a fic on this site, comment! It's not much to ask for, and keep in mind that everyone who post a story on this place loves to write, and all they want is a little encouragement. Too much to ask for? Nope.

How do I post?

Click here to see how to join & post!

Well, it's really easy, actually. First of all, you have to join. Above the header,
you'll find a sentence that says "Below is information about the "Evanescence
Fan Fiction" community on LiveJournal. To join this community, click here.
You may leave the community at any time." Click where it says "Click here"
and follow the directions behind that link.

Step two is to go back to the Userinfo and click on that little pencil button
up above the header.

Click here to see how the entry should look like!

It'll take you to step three - the entry form. Just fill out the blanks and use the
description header shown on the tutorial picture.

If you want to link to another site (your
own journal or another fanfiction site),
please use the html tag below INSTEAD of the
lj-cut!

Click here to see the A HREF link in the entry form!

Then it's just to click on the button on the bottom of the page that says
'Post to ev_fanfic' and you're done!

How can I read old fics without having to browse through the whole community?

It will lead you to this page.

Every fic that's ever been posted on this site have been
saved under the name of its author. Click on a name, and
it'll lead you to a list of fics.

Click on it, read and COMMENT!
