Well. That was interesting.

I know I just posted almost the same exact message in a reply to Alex a few entries down, but oh well. It works.

Now that I've played "The Cool Kids" like a million times I've come to realize that it's really not done. None of us, not even Peter, can pick up a guitar and just "jam."

Wow. I just said "jam."

I miss Alex's ability to do that and just have fun and create. I miss that chemistry. I miss the faces. haha.

And not that I don't love Sarah, but she over analyzes things. So do I. She just sits there and thinks and thinks and thinks. And then she starts saying how maybe she should just go off on her own and be a female singer/songwriter. Grr. And then she complains how Alex always writes songs and we never get a chance to express our musical vision. But I don't think that's true. She's just grumpy and frustrated. We work as a team, not as one person. And this song can't be complete without him giving input.

Oh, and I don't mean to bad mouth Sarah. I've just had a hard day of 2 two-hour swim team practices with a loud band pracitce that was frustrating in between. Plus I'm itchy. Damn that chlorine.

And now it's kind of clear that Zak doesn't want to be in the band. But that's ok. Peter can play bass. haha. Anything to keep him away from those metal solos. *wink*
