[ He’s trying not to smile, though it’s surprisingly difficult to ignore the urge as he spares a quick glance down at the boy in his arms. Ven really had been doing well, but after a few missteps and a spill later, he’d been on the ground nursing a busted knee.
Okay…not busted, but there’d been blood – minimal from the scrapes, but enough to put their training on hold. Neither has mastered cure yet, so they’d been left with the option of trekking it back to Terra’s room for some much needed medical supplies. aka bandaids.
Terra will make sure Ven got the best care for that bloodied knee, yup!
He really is concerned though, and he hates the fact that he might have pushed Ven too much, expected him to keep up when the younger boy clearly doesn’t have as much training experience as Terra does, but…
The faces Ven makes whenever he’s upset… -- Terra laughs a little and adjusts his grip. He knows Ven probably doesn’t like being carried but they’d tried to walking thing with Terra doing his best to support the kid’s weight leaning against his side, but it’d been much easier – and faster – to simply swoop the blond up. If he hadn’t, they’d still be outside, rather than in the hallway with Terra’s door growing closer with every step. ]
