Business as Usual
Who: Kakuzu and Kin
When: March 17
Where: Their usual spot where they go to discuss business related things and such.
Why: Kakuzu seems to have found a small black glucose monitor that a certain executive has been missing.
Checking her cellphone again, Kin was glad to find herself a few minutes early. Her meeting scheduled before this one cancelled suddenly, without excuse. That in itself was intolerable, so she told them just to cancel altogether. But having the break was nice, even if it was short, or so it seemed. Her blood sugar levels were probably all screwed up, thanks to the replacement finally deciding it wanted to die. Shaking her head a little to clear a bit of light headedness that was settling in, Kin told the hostess that she needed a table for two. Being somewhat of a regular there, the person knew where to seat the woman. She told the waitress to wait while she waited for the person to show up. Once she was gone, Kin delicately placed an elbow on the table, resting her forehead in her hand for a moment as she lost concentration. But it wouldn't be a good idea to do anything until she found out if her levels were high or low, though it felt low right then.
Deciding that a small drink wouldn't be too terrible, she asked the waitress for a small glass of orange juice to tide her over for a little bit anyways. At least she wasn't passing out. Once the glass reached her table, she thanked the waitress and picked it up, taking a sip. She really hoped she was right or she'd be even farther off than she'd like.
