Transition: the theme for Weird Web October 2025 #16. 10 random animated images of my bodysurfing rides are masked, and overlaid. Wave ride data was captured with Dawn Patrol. Surfline surf cameras integrate (mostly) to show the 7-20 seconds of each ride. I crop the rides and add a circular highlight in Procreate Dreams. Reload to see a different set of 10 images. I am trying to get better at riding a wave and the video is sort of like "game day" footage. I had fun turning rides with a well-defined beginning, middle, and end into a montage, collapsing space and looping time. Piers, trees, streetlights, beachcombers, birds and surfers are likewise collapsed and looped.
