I've tried a lot of leggings over the years, and these CRZ YOGA Butterluxe leggings are easily among my favorites. The fabric is unbelievably soft and feels smooth against the skin without being too thick or too thin. First of all, let me say, these leggings are AMAZING: they're comfortable, fit perfectly, the material is as described - literally buttery - and they look incredible. This color is also gorgeous, it took a while for my size to restock just to get this color and it was worth the wait. HOWEVER, these being my first pair or CRZ leggings, I am a bit disappointed. I practiced in them 3 times and they seem really solid for moderate to low impact practice, especially Hot. They're very breathable. (I'm talking yoga here, but they'd also be very good for gym or running). Here's the CATCH: I wore them last weekend under a pair of sweats while hiking. I'm not sure how or when it happened, but after I got home, I noticed a huge hole just below the butt in the back center of my right leg. It looked a lot like a nylon tear or rip, rather than a tiny hole that you'd see with more durable, expensive fabrics.

I say all this to say that when it comes to clothing whose durability you rely on, you really get what you pay for. I.E. My first pair of Lulu leggings were a pair of black Aligns and I wore them 2 years straight, never once ripping, snagging, no holes or otherwise, and I just regifted them because they still look nearly brand new. I am glad to know how CRZ's hold up now so I can use them for less rugged activity. Regardless, I still love them and I will still be purchasing this brand. I also won't be throwing them out, I've worn them a total of 4x, so I WILL find a way to layer or repair.

JUST BE AWARE: These leggings are an amazing deal and I DO RECOMMEND, but they are $30 leggings, so don't expect a $100 experience if you plan to wear them during more demanding practice or intense exercise of any kind.

I'm continuously disappointed with store brand named leggings.

I've worn Aerie religiously for the past 8 years, but after they discontinued my favorite style/cut of leggings and increasingly made their leggings more buttery than needed to wear it slides off your body like a seal flopping around, and introducing new cuts with way too much fabric on the waistline, I called it quits.

I tried out this legging because, what is the worse that can happen?

I was pleasantly surprised that this legging fit my petite height perfectly, there was a NORMAL amount of fabric for the waistline so it didn't dig into my stomach or excessively roll and fold into itself, it felt very soft and not too buttery, and the waistline shape seems to have a "cinching" effect so it's not rolling off of you every step you take.

I also appreciate how opaque the black legging is, I did the squat test and nothing showed, yay! It also is just a solid black pair of leggings, it doesn't look special but that's why I like it! I wanted something casual that you can dress up or down.

I haven't worn this in colder weather yet, but I like it in the summer so I assume I'll like it in the winter too.

I also really appreciate how when you sit down or walk, the legging moves with you and lays flat against your skin. It's not doing its own dance moves and sliding everywhere.

I NEVER write reviews. No matter how much I love, or hate a product. I’m simply just too lazy, and a mother of a six month old….butttt he’s pretty chill so most likely I’m just lazy. However, I must must must write this.

It was a dark spring morning when I returned to my third workout class back from giving birth. Mind you six months after giving birth, but who’s counting. Anyways, I was pumped. I was hyped. I was ready to get fit, and ripped, and be a part of that hot Mom’s club I only see on Instagram. I had worked my non existent muscles harder that morning, than I had in the past 13 months combined. My pregnancy consisted of Taco Bell- naps- Jimmy John’s- another nap - and top it off with a walking around cheeseburger from restaurant of whoever was the quickest via DoorDash. So as you can imagine, I was not, nor am I YET in the most elite physical form.

But there I was bright, and early, 5:45 AM to be exact ready to get back to it, ready to conquer all those L-BS I put on, and just pumped to be in a room of adults working to become our best selves. Three minutes left of the workout, and I don’t know how many of you are familiar with Orangetheory fitness, but that is the gym of my choice. And I love it. I love the workouts. I love that they tell me what to do. I love that I don’t even have to think about it. One hour exactly, and I’m done, my heart is no longer in as much trouble as it was the hour prior. The last few minutes of cardio the coach will walk around with antibacterial wipes to wipe off your machinery. And that’s when it happened. Three minutes left of treading myself to a better me. I turned my head to grab the wipe, and BAM!! Next thing I know I’m on my knees, trying to keep up with that treadmill like Lieutenant Dan with no legs. Screaming to my friend who happens to be running on the treadmill to the right of me, begging her for help. The treadmill at a lightning speed of 3, clutching to the handles for dear life, because of course there’s a glass wall that lines behind the treadmills, and my biggest fear is flying through it and shattering it. I have this ridiculous belief that I would fly through the air, and the previous mentioned Taco Bell consumption wouldn’t catapult me to the ground like a rock. Well, seconds that felt like years went by, and I’m pleading to my friend for help, while again trying to keep up on my chubby little knees, and clinging for dear life onto the handles, the coach laughing uncontrollably, trying to help me… my best friend as well laughing hysterically, she pulls her own damn emergency cord…. instead of mine. So we know who NOT to call in a case of emergency. Anyways, finally, the coach is able to stop her hysterics, and pull my cord to make the life-threatening rubber belt I was on come to a halt. After gathering myself up, and what was left of my pride, we walked over to the stretching area. To my disbelief, not one hole, not one tear, not even one spot of thinning in the fabric. These bad boys of leggings held up through the true test of times. I will forever be purchasing this brand because, although I saw my life flash before my eyes, and was basically at the gates of heaven, these beautiful comfortable yet slimming pieces of apparel, did not give up on me, did not fail me. Unlike my best friend did. So if you’re in the market for some leggings, these are it. Thank you for reading my trauma dumping.

I’ve been buying these leggings for years and have about 10 pairs in different colours! They’re really good quality, with a nice thick stretchy fabric that feels comfortable and is really flattering. The colours also hold up well and don’t fade too quickly. I have noticed that the black ones do fade a little after a while, but overall I’m really impressed with the quality for the price and keep coming back to them
