I bought baby food pots and suddenly became the kind of person who labels everything and judges portion sizes with clinical seriousness

I got the Vital Baby Nourish Store & Wean Food Pots (60ml) thinking they’d just be a handy way to store a bit of purée.

What I didn’t expect was to enter the world of precision snack logistics for someone who weighs approximately a small loaf of bread.

First impression:

Tiny. Colourful. Extremely organised. They look like they belong in a highly efficient nursery kitchen run by someone who always has matching lids.

Then you realise:

60ml is not a suggestion. It is a philosophy.

Suddenly I am measuring out food like:

* “Yes, this is exactly 60ml of sweet potato optimism”

* “No, 90ml would be irresponsible at this stage of development”

The pots themselves are actually very good:

* Perfect 60ml portions for early weaning and small snacks

* Soft base makes it easy to pop frozen food out (oddly satisfying, slightly addictive)

* Leakproof lids = no yoghurt explosions in the fridge (a win for humanity)

* Stack neatly, which is dangerous because organisation is addictive

Real-life experience:

At some point, I stopped seeing them as “baby pots” and started seeing them as:

* meal prep containers

* freezer efficiency tools

* tiny trophies of domestic competence

Pros:

* Perfect portion control for baby food (and your sudden obsession with structure)

* Stackable and freezer-friendly = very satisfying fridge aesthetics

* Easy to clean, easy to reuse, surprisingly durable

Cons:

* You will start feeling personally offended if anything exceeds 60ml

* You will label things you absolutely did not need to label

* You will briefly consider reorganising your entire kitchen around them

Final verdict:

10/10 practical weaning essential.

10/10 accidental organisation addiction trigger.

0/10 chance of ever going back to “just shove it in a random tub” lifestyle again.

I am honestly so impressed with these Vital Baby Nourish Food Pots! We’ve just started weaning my little one, and these have made life a thousand times easier. First off, the size is perfect 60ml is just right for tiny tummies, so I don’t have to waste any food. The stackable design is a total space-saver in the fridge and freezer, and I love that they’re leakproof. No more messy spills when I’m rushing to feed her before nap time!

The soft base is genius too it makes squeezing out the last bit of puree super easy, and my daughter loves it when I let her try feeding herself. Bonus points for being EarthSmart and biodegradable it’s nice knowing we’re doing a tiny bit for the planet while juggling the chaos of baby food prep. And they’re BPA-free, which I always check for, because safety first!

Freezer safe? Yes, please! I make little batches of carrot, apple, and sweet potato puree and freeze them in these pots. Not yet used. From opening pots are sturdy nice colours, good size for weaning, lids fit perfectly with a good seal. Like that they have a soft side and base for easy pop out when frozen they are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe brilliant little pots and great price definitely ordering a second pack.

Colourful and good quality! Perfect for storing snacks like nuts and raisins. It can also be kept in the fridge to let contents melt slowly. I even used it to store baby puree, and it worked great. No leakage. Easy to use and yes value for 💰

Great size for first weaning stage, babies tummys are tiny hence the small size pot. We’re still early on and we can see the pots lasting a while yet but I’d imagine they will become too small a few months into weaning. In terms of value we’re thinking of repurposing as fruit pots for school/work lunches but if you’re buying just for puree id get something bigger that you can repurpose for other things. Quality is great though, lids are tight fit for freshness and the pots freeze well. I like the rubber/silicone sides so baby can grab a little easier as well as us with them being so small.

Its looking nice and colourful. You can easily pop out the freezd food, but it can be used in the microwave! So every time I need to transfer the food to another plate to be heated. Its not practical. I can still use it for cold food like fruits and yogurt.
