As a tech enthusiast who relies on multiple devices daily, I’m always on the lookout for high-quality, reliable accessories. The UGREEN 140W USB C 3.2 Gen 2 Cable has exceeded my expectations in every possible way.

Build Quality – Solid and Durable

Right out of the box, the cable feels premium. The braided design not only looks sleek but also adds durability, preventing tangles and ensuring it can withstand daily use. The connectors are sturdy and well-made, fitting snugly into every port without any looseness.

Performance – Blazing Fast and Reliable

I tested this cable with my MacBook Pro 16” (M1 Max), and it handled 140W charging effortlessly. My laptop charged at full speed, even while running intensive tasks like video editing. I also used it with my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and the fast charging was flawless. The USB 3.2 Gen 2 transfer speeds are incredible – moving large files between devices was noticeably faster compared to my older cables.

Versatility – One Cable to Rule Them All

What I appreciate the most is the versatility. Whether I’m charging my laptop, tablet, phone, or even an external SSD, this cable delivers consistently. It’s great to have one cable that does it all – no need to switch between multiple cables for different devices.

Why 5 Stars?

• 140W Power Delivery – Charges high-power devices without issues.

• High-Speed Data Transfer – 10Gbps performance for quick file transfers.

• Durability – Braided, tangle-free design built to last.

• Universal Compatibility – Works seamlessly with laptops, smartphones, and accessories.

If you need a cable that’s fast, durable, and capable of handling high-powered devices, look no further. UGREEN continues to impress with their attention to quality and performance. Highly recommended!

I reached my personal endgame audiophile setup while I still had some sanity left, after a few months down the rabbit hole. I used it happily for awhile, using my iPhone 15 pro (USB-C) as a source and an Apple USB-C to USB-C data cable.

Eventually stumbled upon something about cables. I didn’t want to spend way too much money on a cord I already have a tangled box of, right? I ultimately grabbed this VERY reasonably-priced UGRREN USB-C cable, noting that it transfers a lot more data a lot more quickly than an Apple cable, and is shorter, so there’s less opportunity for sound signal to get mushy.

Cables are relatively divisive in the audio world — some say they make zero difference, others swear by cable quality and will spend more on them than the rest of their setups are worth. Luckily this was only $20-something, and personally, I noticed a massive & immediate difference when I swapped from the Apple cable to this one. Never going back — it was like hearing all my music for the first time again (said everyone, always).

The only thing that annoys me a little is the length, as I need to be really close to my DAC to use my phone. However, as previously mentioned, the length of the cable does matter in this situation (the shorter the better), and I’d rather give up a little convenience than sound quality.

Cannot recommend enough, even if you just want to test it out and see if you can tell the difference :)

Specs if you want them:

AKG k702 headphones with a “Schiit stack,” including a Vali 2++ tube amp (tube-rolled with JAN GE 5670), Loki Mini+ equalizer, and Modi Multibit DAC; iPhone 15 Pro and Apple Music (or Spotify sometimes) as source.

I just bought a new Mac and I needed to hook my ProGrade card reader to it, but it had a USB A connection on one end. So, I picked this one up since I've had great luck with UGreen cables in the past. It has a nice braided outer construction and is good and flexible, not stiff to work with. Overall, the appearance is good and the construction is top notch. After trying this out with the card reader and the Mac, I got the specified speed of 10Gbs that I was wanting.

I haven't charged anything with this cable or run any video with it since this cable is dedicated to the card reader. But, UGreen makes quality products and I'm sure the video and power specs are up to snuff like the data specs were.

This cable is the real deal. I bought this cable to replace the one in use to connect my Samsung T7 SSD Backup drive to my PC. My old cable would only provide a USB 2.0 interface, hooking up this bad boy and it jumped to a USB 3.2 interface, which is the maximum my PC's USB "C" port is capable of. The end result is both my read/write speeds increased x10. Although this is what I had hoped for, if not expected, I am totally overjoyed this cable delivered as advertised. The connectors fit securely tight in the ports so there's no fear of accidental disconnect. The braided cable appears to be what you would expect of a premium cable. Since this a permanent, stationary application, I can expect higher than normal longevity because it won't be routinely disconnected and reconnected or bent by rerouting etc., so I can only guess on durability, but going by my perceived quality of the cable I would expect it to be as good as if not better than average. For anyone looking for a fast reliable cable, this one should be highly considered.

This is a fantastic example of a USB C 3.2 gen2 cable. The UGREEN USB C3.2 gen2 cable performs exactly as advertised. Excellent durability and connectivity. As far as data and speed are concerned every single pin in the USB C connector is functional.

This cable is also backwards compatible and will perform as well, if not better than any older USB cable it replaces. However, when looking for an adapter to use with this cable be sure it is capable of recognizing all of the pins, there are many adapters available that can't match the performance of this cable. Using the wrong adapter can make a huge difference and could even make the cable useless until the correct adapter is chosen.

I will definitely purchase these UGREEN USB - C 3.2 Gen2 cables the next time the need arises for a new USB cable. This is the only USB - C cable that I will buy from now on or until a better one becomes available in a few years.

Great cable, great functionality at a great price!

Everything as advertised, quality is on top, it supports very high transfer speed being 3.2 Gen 2, value for money is great IMO, feels very durable and has high charging speed.

I tried both this cable and the upgraded version of this (same specs but with square ends), and even though I ultimately preferred the upgraded version, this one has some nice benefits over the upgraded version that might make you want to get this one instead. The cable length of both of them are as advertised, and it's a good length to connect devices together that will be right next to each other, so you don't want lots of extra cable to get tangled up. I ended up preferring the thicker cable and the superior braiding of the square upgraded one, but one nice thing about the thinner cable thickness on this one, is that it is a lot more bendable and doesn't seem to affect durability or speed. The braiding doesn't feel quite as nice as on the square upgraded version, but it still feels pretty nice compared to other cables I've tried. The ends on this one also feel a bit more heavy-duty than the ends on the square upgraded version (though those ends feel more premium but also a bit more delicate).

So if you're looking for a very flexible cable with very sturdy ends that still feels high-quality, this would be a great option over the square upgraded version of this cable with the same specs, and it would save you a bit of money. Even if you just want to save a bit of money, this older version is still very nice and seems to work the same as the newer one.

I needed a proper 3.2 Gen 2 cable and this delivered unlike the prior cable I ordered that claimed to be one. 2nd UGREEN product I've ordered and they've both been flawless. Companies try to get over on people claiming certain specs since people often just use cables for charging. However I needed this as a replacement cable for Elgato 4k X which is extremely specific on the cable it needs. The moment I plugged this in. The Elgato software fully lit up immediately. I will be coming to UGREEN in the future for my quality needs. As a power user and I.T. professional I need parts that perform. An UGREEN proofed they stand with the best today!

Excêntrico cabo! Ótima construção. Única coisa que não testei é se ele suporta os 5A de corrente para carregar o notebook mas acredito que sim. Estou bem satisfeito!

This UGREEN 240W USB-C 3.2 cable is a powerhouse. I picked it up specifically for my iPhone 16 Pro Max rig and NVMe SSD, and it’s exceeded all expectations for charging, data, and video. If you're looking for a single USB-C cable that can charge, transfer, and output video at pro-level speeds, this is it. UGREEN crushed it with this one—highly recommend for creators, power users, or anyone who needs reliability and speed.

This USB-C cable is a game-changer! It charges my devices quickly, and the build quality feels solid and durable. I love that it supports 240W fast charging - perfect for powering up laptops and other high-power devices.

What I liked:

✔ Super fast charging - 240W is impressive!

✔ High-quality, durable cable that doesn’t feel flimsy.

✔ Works with a variety of devices, including laptops and phones.

✔ Long enough for flexible use.

What I didn’t like:

✘ A little thicker than some other cables, but that’s expected for the power it supports.

✘ Can be slightly stiff when first used, but it loosens up.

Overall, if you need a reliable, fast-charging cable that can handle heavy-duty use, this one’s a winner!
