FileAccessErrorView is a diagnostic tool for Windows that displays information about errors occur while programs running on your system try to open/read/write/delete a file. It displays the filename that the application tried to open/read/write/delete, the process id/name of the application, the error code (NTSTATUS code), the description of the error code, the number of times that this error occurred and the timestamp of this error.

WizTree is a very fast disk space analyzer and search tool, scanning a single folder or your entire hard drive quickly and showing those files and folders using the most disk space. The program uses the NTFS Master File Table (MFT) feature in Windows to rapidly view files.

Note that this high-speed mode is limited to local, NTFS-formatted drives. The program must do a (much slower) scan of FAT-formatted or network drives for analysis.

CudaText is a code editor with a clean, tabbed interface and side-panels. Includes split view, code folding, hotkeys, macros, theme support, color picker and much more. The program supports 300+ syntaxes and add-ons written in Python, as well as some IDE features if plugins are used.

Program settings are modified either via options dialogs, or alternatively, by manually editing text config files (JSON format).

The program is cross-platform, with clients available for Mac, Linux, and others.

CherryTree is an hierarchical note-taking application. It features rich-text formatting, syntax highlighting, spell-checking, image insertion and password protection. Data is stored in a single XML or SQLite file. Import from plaintext, HTML or your favorite note-taker, including Zim, Treepad, Keynote, Mempad and RedNotebook. Export to PDF, HTML or plaintext files.

Media Player Classic - Home Cinema (MPC-HC) [clsid fork] is a lightweight player with broad format support. It includes keyboard shortcuts, audio/video controls, a web interface for remote control and more. The program is derived from Media Player Classic (MPC), a media player that mimics the interface of Windows Media Player 6.4, and adds support for EVR rendering, video hardware acceleration, bugfixes, additional languages, decoders and more.

calibre is a feature-rich e-book library management application with a variety of useful functions including viewer, addendums, editor, online book and news search/download. The software can perform detailed searches, convert between formats including e-books to device-specific formats, batch metadata tools, and a content server for online access to your collection.

The program syncs automatically with many different physical devices. It supports a variety of ebook and document formats.

Cross-platform with clients available for Mac and Linux. Alternatively, Calibre Portable and an outdated X-calibre, as well as a WinXP-compatible version are also available.

RisohEditor is a resource editor for Win32 development. It supports adding, editing, extracting, cloning and removing resource data in EXE/DLL/RC/RES files. This includes resources such as dialogs, menus, icons, cursors, string tables, message tables etc.

Alternatively, RisohEditor Portable is also available.

IrfanView is a viewer for a wide variety of image, audio and video formats. The program includes batch processing, creation of panoramic images, edition of multi-page TIFF files, lossless JPEG rotate/crop and effects such as sharpen and blur. Other tools such as screen capture, scanner, slideshow, plugin support and ability to capture icons from EXE or DLL.

Alternatively, IrfanView Portable is also available and updates drive letters and handles registry keys.
