The terrorists caused quite a stir
And changed so much that fateful day.

Child two: "Daddy, I do not want
The other building to come down."
Questions from that day always haunt
All of the kids gathered around.

Some of these children are too small.
To truly try to understand
Why the twin towers had to fall
And why the four planes did not land.

Whether they lost their Mom or Dad
Or both they will never forget
How losing them made them so sad.
They feel so lonely and upset.

When they grow up, they'll fnd out more.
And they'll learn better how to cope
With why the towers stood before.
Some may have nightmares and lose hope.

These children will take time to heal,
May hide in their rooms for a while.
So many emotions they feel,
Silently shed tears and not smile.
