My site was one of the first “photoblogs” — image-centric social media, a decade before Instagram. A bunch of people in NYC and elsewhere started similar sites around the same time. Some of them became good friends of mine. It can be good to meet strangers online…
Why are the photos so small? Back then most people had dial-up Internet, and waiting for big photos to download was painful. Also they looked bigger on the low-res screens of the era.
