We will have a glorious winter with local activities on snow machine trails, The Pinery Park and snow shoe trails. The winter will lead to the Summer of 2024 which is going to be great. The beaches will open with lifeguards when the water is warm enough to swim in. Don’t miss your opportunity to join us! Make your accommodation reservations now!! Our Restaurants and Cottages  are all spruced up and ready to welcome you. Our store owners are staying open to serve you! The potatoes will be arriving and along with the burgers will be ready for you at Denny’s and other fine restuarants. The musicians have been hired and will be waiting on the decks of the restaurants to entertain you. Our restaurants will open for dining, take out and patio dining as well as the new delivery services and that is a sure sign that Summer is soon to be here. Â

There will be great fireworks on the beach this July 1, 2024 – it will be a fantastic event. The Canada Day Celebrations Committee will be releasing further details about 2024 at a later date: watch for future announcements about this fun event.
 Book your Hotels, B & B’s, Cottages, Camping spots now before they are all gone. Winter is a great season in our area but the summer really rocks. There are activities for everyone, such as quieter trails and the south and north beach and the Pinery which appeals to families. Come see our beach house and children’s water and play area in 2024 and enjoy a free concert at sundown on the beach. Our 25 mile long sandy beach draws people to our town to swim and they stay to enjoy our Restaurants and Nightlife.

We are a thriving community with several New Housing Developments starting all the time. We have a medical center that looks to be the focus on health. Our seniors have access to all that the town has to offer. We have wheelchair access sidewalks, an elevator at the beach house allows everyone access to the viewing area up top and the wheelchair friendly walkway across the beach area allows everyone to view our glorious sunsets and dip their toes in the water.
