thankful we were able to get a pic of this trap before it bit the dust AGAIN on the way out the door...whew!  it was a family effort figuring out how to build the best trap sure to catch one of those cute little red-headed guys.  i knew we should have put some lucky charms in the pot of gold...better luck next year!

snow days...

oh my goodness!  i cannot remember the last time we had SO much snow!  school has been called off for 4 solid days, (the walls are beginning to cave in around me) and we are running out of things to do inside.  luckily, the weather report looks promising for some warmer temps to begin the melting.

and he loved eating most of it.
