Originally from Washington State, Emmy was raised in a musical family surrounded by songwriting, which inspired her to begin writing songs at a young age. Her passion for music led her to study at Azusa Pacific University in California, where she developed a strong technical foundation. After graduating, Emmy felt a deep calling to serve the church, beginning her ministry in Southern California before joining Bethel Church in 2015.
Emmy is best known for her features on Bethel Musicâs albums Simple (2022), leading âTend;â Homecoming (2021), leading âStanding in Miracles;â and Victory (2019), leading âPromises Never Fail.â She also appeared on Come Up Here (2023), leading âInheritance.â Most recently, Emmy is featured on the collectiveâs newest album, We Must Respond (Live) (2025), with her song âHeâs The One - Live.â She has immersed herself in all aspects of worship within the church, including songwriting and leading for Bethel Church services.
Throughout her journey, Emmy has embraced themes of purity and intimacy, holding onto the belief that there is always more with God. Her heartâs desire is to yield to His voice, trusting that He always writes a better story. Emmy lives in Redding, California, with her husband, Daniel, and their son, Wren, where she continues to lead worship and write music with the Bethel Music community.
