First Beach day of the Year

Over spring break we hit the beaches for the first time this season. The water was so cold but the kids had a blast the cold didn't stop them.

Happy Birthday?!

We celebrated all the April birthdays with cousins and Isabel did not like everyone singing to her or the fire in her face! Her face was so funny, she looked very worried.

Ariela

Isabel really likes her cousins, especially Ariela! They are girly girls at heart!!!

Easter

For Easter dinner this year we went to my Sister-in-law Olga's house. following tradition the dads hid some eggs for the kids to have an egg hunt. These are the findings!

Washing Hands

Isabel loves to put the stool up to the sink in the bathroom and wash her hands. She is so happy when they get dirty just so she can wash them.

Florida

When we got back to Florida we spent a couple more days there. We went to south beach, and drove around Miami then we headed to my Aunt Colleen's house. There we went on jet skis and the boat in the canals, the boys LOVED it!!!

cozumel

Our last stop was supposed to be in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico but it was windy so we had to go to Cozumel instead. That was a big dissapointment but the boys went snorkeling and really loved it. I would have liked to go but Isabel is a little too young to snorkel, but my uncle Bob went with the boys. Isabel and I had to enjoy the fish from a glass bottomed boat.

Panama

Panama was amazing!!! We walked through the rainforest and saw(heard) howler monkeys, saw some ruins along the El Chagres river and went to the Panama Canal! That was incredible!!!

Colombia

I never imagined I would every go to Colombia! It was green, and had some amazing old architecture throughout the city. We saw a fort that they used to protect their city from pirates. We also went to the mangroves and rode a very small canoe around.

Dinner on the Cruise

A few nights througout the cruise it was formal dress, we had so much fun with that. We decided that tradition should be brought back.

Aruba

The second stop was Aruba here we just went to the beach but it was the most amazingly beautiful beach in the whole world! White sand and turqoise water, it looked just like in the movies.

Curacao

The first port we stopped in was Curacao. We took a tour to come caves with tiny bats in it. Drove through the countryside, saw our first Caribbean beaches and did some snorkeling. It was beautiful!!!!

Cruise November 2009

I haven't posted for soooo long! I will try to catch up on everything. In November we went on an amazing cruise, it was the trip of a lifetime. We went with my aunt, uncle and cousin Bob, Colleen and Scott. And, some friends from our ward Brenda and Ron Vallejo. We had a blast, now when I think about it, it seems like it was a dream! We left form Ft. Lauderdale with stops in Curacao, Aruba, Panama, Colombia and Cozumel. We learned so much about these cultures and the kids loved it!!!! I wish we could go again...today.....right now!!! I am so glad that we have cameras today to capture all of our memories.

Halloween

Trick or Treat!

Yesterday was Halloween and as always we had fun dressing up! Isaac designed his robot costume, Mckay was Indiana Jones, Isabel was a ladubug and Claudio and I took a trip back to 7th grade! We ahd a lot of fun going to a party and trunk-or-treat at church and then a party at a friends house. Isabel really got the hang of trick-or-treating she was even saying trick or treat! After the first few houses she figured out what they were putting in her bucket and then she was running to the next house, it was very cute!!!
