Hey Guys!
Looks like our trip to Las Vegas is about to be a reality. We are going to fly into Vegas rent an RV and tour the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, and Bryce Canyon. At the Grand Canyon we plan to hike down to the Colorado river via the South Kaibab trail, a 7 mile hike, spend the night at the bottom of the canyon, then hike back out via the Bright Angel Trail, 9.5 miles. We are really looking forward to experiencing all the Grand Canyon has to offer. We have heard from many people that pictures cannot express the magnitude or the beauty of the Grand Canyon. We were then going to do one of the most beautiful hike in our country, the "Zion Narrows". It is a slot canyon and the trail is the Virgin River. We were disappointed to hear that we would not be able to do that hike because of the speed and water level of the river this year due to snow melt in the mountains. Hopefully we will be able to upload pictures of our trip along the way to share with our friends here at home.
