Using a fusion of music which combines Islamic and world grooves to create a dub driven dance crossover.The unique sound of Celt Islam is a fusion of western and middle eastern influences combined with a futurist dub attitude.
Celt Islam has played at various Festivals from Glastonbury to Ozora supporting acts like: Grandmaster Melle Mel and The Furious Five , The Sugerhill Gang , Youth , EAT STATIC ,Public Enemy Bomb Squad {Hank Shocklee}, Hardfloor. Scientist , System7 , Irina Mikhailova , Culture Shock , Don Letts , DJ UMB, Iration Steppas , Winachi Tribe, The Orb, Mixmaster Morris ,Zion Train, ORANGE BLOSSOM, Slamboree Soundsystem, Cold Cut. Gaudi , Braintheft , High Tone, Engine Earz, DJ Bobby Friction, DJ Pathaan ,Celt Islam was also chosen by the BBC DJ Bobby Friction to perform at the BBC Introducing stage Glastonbury 2010.
