Okay...no one ever posts on here. So just wanted to say that I work at St. Mark's Hospital here in Murray. Megan and I both do actually. She's been there for two years or so and I've been there for a year. I work on the rehab floor (lots of old people) and the Progressive Care Unit (Cardiac Floor).
Megan works mostly on the Gastroenterology floor and does outpatient as well. So it's super fun to work together. We have a blast. Great job, great people...love it! Here's a pic of me and my little boy who is now 16 months old. Someone else needs to post on here! Hope you are all well!

Preston Michael Poulos is BORN!

Hello Friends!!!

It has been really fun to look on here and see pictures of people's weddings and new babies and everything! Sherri and Krista you guys looked beautiful, from what pictures I've seen! Hope everyone is doing great in jobs and whatever else you have going on.

I just wanted to post up that I had my baby boy on Monday February 18th at 11 am. His name is Preston Michael Poulos and he weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. He is awesome! I love being a mom even though he definitely keeps me up at night and right now my boobs are so hard with engorgement that I could probably beat someone up with them! I'm sure Andi appreciated that comment.

Anywho... I thought I might have to have a C-section because of a small pelvis, but I went into the hospital on Sunday night and they gave me a pill to dilate me (my due date was the 14th) and then they were going to induce me in the morning. But during the night I went into labor on my own just from the pill, which was not cool because the anesthesiologist didn't come on until 6 am. So for about 2 hours I experienced the excrutiating pains of labor...which sucked. All I have to say is get the epidural because it is magical. Once I had that thing I wanted to freaking marry the anesthesiologist it was so great. It makes you feel better than you've felt in months! Anyways, from there thing went pretty fast before 2 hours I was dilated to a 9 then a 10 and then we pushed for an hour and he came out! So we are really excited and just enjoying hanging out with him. So now all I have to do is recover and lose the way too much weight that I gained during this pregnancy. I seriously could not even tell the doctor I was an RD because I was like ashamed. But being pregnant is hard okay? (Haley, Erin, Heidi...you know what I'm sayin').

Here are some OLD updates from Kristen and Alicia that for some reason I never posted. Better late than never. Sorry.

Hi all--

Well, here I am, at Michigan State University's campus-- I'm in the dorms this week because I actually had to come stay on campus for this rotation. I'm supposed to be researching and developing a lesson plan on healthy fats, but a couple hours later I've checked facebook, read emails, and now updated myself on everyone's life via their blogs! :) Procrastination... some things never change, eh?! And even better, I brought my air popper here with me to the dorms, so soon I'll be munching on popcorn and procrastinating homework... which takes me even closer home to Provo days! I miss you all and love reading about all of the fun news. CONGRATULATIONS! Sitting here, I realized that I didn't udpate most of you....I'm engaged too! I know, I know... I didn't really think I'd ever do it either! :) jk But yeah, it's to the boy--Ken--that I dated most of our last year at BYU. We continued to date off-and-on throughout the summer, talk through the first part of my internship, and then he applied and got an internship out in Michigan too! So he was here from January- end of April. I've been living in the basement of a cute little family I met my first week at church out here, and then he moved in the basement of the bishop's house! haha... funny memories. Anyway, after quite some time, he told me that either the roller coaster needed to be more fun, or he was done with it! (he actually did say something to that effect once, but when he proposed it was a little more romantic than that!) He proposed at the beginning of March in downtown Chicago, right in front of the Drake Hotel and by Lake Michigan. We're getting married in July! Then, he found out he got into a master's program at University of Maryland, so we're moving there! My life is being turned upside down, but I am excited (and a little nervous) about the whole thing. Erin, if you have any suggestions on where to begin looking for jobs in the area, I advice and will be desperate for a job... we are going to be POOR! About halfway through the internship I developed an extraordinary plan for how I was going to take a year or so off before working (hehe--or maybe never work again! these plans were made on my tired days!)... but doesn't look like that's going to happen!
4.1 weeks and I'm done out here! It's been a good experience, but regardless, I have one of those paper Christmas rings and I'm counting down the days! :)

Anyway, I'm excited to tell you all and hope to keep hearing updates about your lives! Seriously, I miss our class! Even though I hate to admit it, I really do think the professors were right in saying that we had such a unique and good program! 4.1 weeks and I'm done out here! Hey Heidi,

Wanted to send you an update. Chuck and I are doing well. We are both working and I am still in grad school and have one more semester before I start my internship. We will probably be moving to St. Louis in January for my rotations, but we are not for sure yet. I thought you might like some pics to add to the webpage. These are pics from a murder mystery dinner we went to. It was a lot of fun!

She was 7 pounds, 10 ounces and 19.5 inches long

As you can see from the picture, she has a full head of dark (almost black) hair. We are both doing well...perfectly healthy and adjusting to this new life. She is a wonderful baby and I'm absolutely loving being a Mom.

Brent and Laura Robinson on Vacation

Hola Dietetics Class-

Andy, I loved your update. I also loved everyone elses'; It's really fun to see what's going on. Now I will tell you, briefly, what is happening for myself.

I've had a busy summer- I moved to SLC, passed the RD exam, and a bunch of other stuff. I started working for Intermountain HealthCare at LDS Hospital as a "Food and Nutrition Educator". That translates into teaching "In-Services" for the region....I always loved those mini teaching assignments, and now I get to do it all the time!! However, now, instead of 15 minutes, I teach for an hour, and instead of just teaching a lesson once, it's about 10 times.....It is nice to get paid for it this time.

Brent and I have been taking advantage of our spare time. This summer we've hiked Mt. Borah (Highest peak in Idaho- Megan will know what that is...:), taken off randomly to Hawaii and Las Vegas where we got married again...Just kidding. That didn't happen. I am posting a picture of Hawaii. Brent had never seen the ocean: That makes it particularly cool.

So, that's what's happening for Mrs. Robinson. Keep the updates coming. Now that I am not in school anymore, I have time to check this site every day!

A Hello from Andi

Hi everyone,

As most of you know, I got married to Brandi almost exactly a year ago. After the wedding we moved up to Salt Lake where I did my internship and Brandi worked full time in a pet hospital and took classes at the BYU extension. I finished the internship this March, and in May Brandi and I put all our belongings in storage, abandonned our apartment in Salt Lake, and worked at a Boy Scout camp in Alaska for four weeks. Immediately after camp we flew to Switzerland and spent the next five weeks in Switzerland and Italy (Don't go to Florence!). Europe is still beautiful and they DO have the best chocolate in Switzerland (just in case anyone wanted to contest that). In Switzerland, for the first time ever, I was able to participate in a church soccer tournament with a team consisting of all the males in my family (We called it the "Suter Family Dream Team" and actually got second place). Fun times!

Now we're back in Provo where Brandi continues her studies and where I will be looking for a job (I passed the RD exam before I went to Alaska, by the way).

Congrats to Ann-Marie and Haley and all the others that are going through big life events at the moment.
