TV ‘Cat’s Eyes’, A Female-Driven, Manga-Adapted Art Heist Drama, Is Stealing The Limelight In France
For the latest edition of Deadline’s Global Breakouts series we head to France, where TF1 is gearing for the launch of the second season of ‘Cat’s Eyes,’ which follows three sisters who embark on a series of spectacular art heists in landmark sites across the country. There’s growing international buzz around the show, a ratings hit for Season 1 which featured locations including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Palace of Versailles. In Season 2 the action goes further afield, opening with a daring operation on the Mont St Michel, with other locations including the Musée d’Orsay, Centre Pompidou and Montparnasse Tower.
